Turn up the volume!

After writing Solspot's long-range forecast today I noticed that the NPac takes a couple days off.  I don't think she's in very good shape yet.  The tropical West Pacific is still trying to coax her out of her slumber though.  There are a series of sub-tropical systems making their way up towards the Aleutians over the weekend and early next week... now its just a matter of waiting for a cold front to drop down and turn up the volume a little bit!
