California is looking at moderate surf through the week, with still some Southern Hemi swells helping to mix things up as we get later in the season. There's also some more storm action starting to grace the long-range forecast window too. The East Coast isn't looking all that exciting, although TS Nadine is only a week away from making history. TS/Hurricane Nadine... still going
Not sure if any of you have been following this crazy trip of a storm... but TS Nadine has a little over a week before she reaches the all time record for longest lasting tropical cyclone a record held by Hurricane/Typhoon John in northeast and northwest Pacific Basin 1994 (31 days). She’s currently milling around about 685 miles W of the Azores Austin Gendronhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01750130694903641731noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-921311955444458506.post-31655716614322683482012-09-28T14:07:00.000-07:002012-09-28T14:07:04.167-07:00Swell updates for 9.28.12

This is what I like to see!!! New NW on the way for California this weekend... Central America is going to see another jolt of SSW-SW swell... oh and Nadine is back at it over in the Atlantic... she's back to being a hurricane again. Possibly the longest lasting tropical system I've ever encountered. She's been trucking along Austin Gendronhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01750130694903641731noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-921311955444458506.post-76779414999475309492012-09-27T14:19:00.001-07:002012-09-27T14:19:18.059-07:00Turn up the volume! After writing Solspot's long-range forecast today I noticed that the NPac takes a couple days off. I don't think she's in very good shape yet. The tropical West Pacific is still trying to coax her out of her slumber though. There are a series of sub-tropical systems making their way up towards the Aleutians over the weekend and early next week... now its just a matter of waitingAustin Gendronhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01750130694903641731noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-921311955444458506.post-17982035220595849672012-09-26T15:49:00.002-07:002012-09-26T15:50:44.489-07:00Region updates 9.26.12Central America and Mainland Mex are taking the cake this week as far as best swells go as overlapping SSW-SW pulses continue to build through the weekend... California comes in a close second as the second NPac swell of the season shows up and more Southern Hemi!!! Sorry East Coast... not much exciting going on for the time being.
