The ultimate hold down

Well, here I am, sitting at my once beloved desk. Now, its just a reminder of how awesome life was yesterday. Covered in maps, sticky notes, and of course my computer. The one thing I have left essentially.

Well, wait not so fast... I've still got an education, and a love for the ocean. So here it goes, this is what happens after losing a dream job, for a company that was started based on the dream to bring free surf reports to the world. I intend on continuing to bring the same quality forecasts to this blog, as I did to Wetsand.com. At least until I have another outlet which will actually support me financially.

I hope you enjoy your reports, I will try to keep them as accurate as possible, and continue them on a regular basis...

  2. Good luck Austin. Keep creating the content that Wetsand didn't have the vision to keep.

  3. sorry to hear things didn't work out at wetsand - i've been reading your forecast there for the last couple of years and you really nailed the central america pacific forecast. Glad to hear you are still posting the forecast here. Hope everything works out for you, keep up the good work and I will try to send some good karma your way - you have earned it from my perspective.

  7. Dude, sorry that wetsand is not able (or willing) to support the forecasters. Heading down to El Sal in a few week and will miss the reports. Hang in and hope your valuable services will find a new home.

  9. Austin the only accurate reports i could get for the north pacific in Costa Rica where from you. You nailed them every time and i have sick pictures to prove it. If possible keep it up cause me and a lot of other people would skip most of the wetsand content straight to your reports!
