Sorry I've been Sick...

Well Its been a week now and I've been pretty miserable.  Haven't even had the heart to think about surfing let alone update a post to let you  all know that there's still plenty out there for the rest of the world.  A couple of things to note...

There's a mysterious new Central California forecaster over at Solspot.com that seems to be extremely intelligent and good looking... I mean a good forecaster (grin), giving my little blog a run for its money.  I would definitely recommend checking the site out and leaving some comments if you like the format.

Other than that: The East Coast is up for two pretty hefty SW wind swells in the next week, Central America is looking at a solid weak of chest to overhead surf, and Northern California could see some snow at low elevations even on the beach... but there isn't much surf after this weekend.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying your short month.

Woop Woop to Womp Womp... well kinda

Clean surf and plenty of it over the past couple days here in California has us all pretty fit and happy... and new swell filling in for the Central American countries as well has put a smile on their face.  California is retrograding though, as larger stormy surf and stormy weather heads for the coast... Don't worry all you tropical inhabitants, you'll still be getting surf, and conditions aren't deteriorating either... lucky you!

Don't forget to check out the new picture posted on the Facebook page.  Feel free to leave comments and share them with your friends!

spring time?

Well it looks like we're starting to see some shifts in the weather patterns a bit.  Central America is starting to see more consistent swells out of the SW.  The US West Coast is starting to see the high pressure bringing back some wind swell, and the Southeast US is starting to see some SE background swell picking up from the trades while there isn't much happening in the Northeast.  Hope everyone is having a great week!

Punxsutawney Phil...

Seriously?! Spring is coming early this year? That's Horse $#!@... We've only gotten a month of winter swells so far this year, and now you're telling me its almost over?! (frustration and steam flowing from ears and face)  The East Coast is probably ready and a bit confused as to how such a call could be made as yet another winter storm plows across the coast.  I guess Central America will be stoked to know that means their winter is coming earlier... Surfwise, we're looking at clean conditions on the West Coast as offshores are in full effect, and the east coast is going to get their chance tomorrow!
