A beautiful day in Santa Barbara

A little eye candy...

As most places are seeing pretty small surf... I figured now would be an appropriate time to upload a couple shots from earlier this summer and spring.  Let me know what you think, and feel free to invite your friends to take a look as well.

Summer Lows....

Hey Everyone,

Hope you're having a great summer so far.  It looks like the United States is in a bit of a slump the last couple of days, as no new swells have brought anything really worth mentioning to the table.  There could be some south swells headed up the Pacific Coast though later this week and the second week of August.  The tropics are looking good, with no cyclones to be seen, and the southern jet stream finally easing up a bit to send the Latin countries some swell.

I would like to thank everyone for their support, and would thoroughly appreciate it if you would take the time to pass on globalsurfreports.com to your friends.  Let them know about upcoming swells, and where you read about them.  I am going to start adding some pictures and charts to the page, and would appreciate any feed back.

what would we do with out south swells?

Well I guess that isn't an entirely fair question as Northern and Central California are getting a nice little mid summer treat with a NW groundswell that brought some very clean corduroy lines in this morning.  South swells are showing up everywhere else though, bringing some fun surf to the East Coast during a very slow hurricane season.  The next decent sized swell is headed for Latin America too... If you're planning on traveling feel free to drop me a line for a personal account of whats going on before you head out.
